Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Junior Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by assisting the sales team in engaging with clients, understanding their technical requirements, and presenting comprehensive full-line solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career development in the field of robotics automation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Understanding and Proficiency

• Develop a solid understanding of Tekpak Automation’s product offerings, including their standard robotic systems and a unique capability of creating modular and flexible automated solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word to create comprehensive and visually appealing technical documentation.
• Technical writing, concept generation and ability to use visual tools to convey the client’s requirements.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience and good understanding of AutoCAD
• Strong technical aptitude and interest in robotics and automation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to comprehend and convey technical information effectively.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Adaptable, flexible, and willing to assist the team in successfully ‘wowing the customer’
• Must be able to work with ambiguous information and evolving project specifications within tight deadlines.

Desirable Software Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with 3D design/modelling software including SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, CREO, 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, etc.
