Tekpak’s Automated Leaflet Inserter with Batch Data Printer & Vision Inspection System is designed for efficient insertion of pre-folded and tabbed booklets/leaflets directly into cartons. The system features a vertical leaflet magazine and pneumatic release, making it ideal for high-speed pharmaceutical packaging.

Multiple camera-based vision inspection systems verify carton contents, carton pharmacode, leaflet pharmacode, leaflet presence, and printed batch data. Rejected cartons are directed into a reject bin, and the system stops after three consecutive rejects to prevent errors.

The system supports multiple carton formats with quick size change capabilities and includes a batch data printer for product information. Constructed from stainless steel 304, it meets pharmaceutical specifications and GMP standards, featuring fail-safe sensors and a safety control system to ensure compliance and safety.

Tekpak’s Continuous Motion Rotary Leaflet Feeder is a fully automated system designed to integrate seamlessly with existing High-Speed Cartoners. The system ensures precise leaflet placement, with a synchronisation system that guarantees leaflets are dispensed in perfect phase with the cartoner’s operation. This automation enhances efficiency, reduces manual intervention, and ensures consistent performance in high-speed pharmaceutical environments.

The system includes a Servo Controlled Twin Vacuum Head Rotary Leaflet Feeder equipped with a maintenance-free Venturi vacuum gripper, ensuring reliable leaflet handling. Leaflets are fed from a Horizontal Leaflet Magazine onto a Servo Controlled Flighted Leaflet Conveyor for precise transportation. Pharmacode Verification ensures leaflet accuracy, while a Blow Off Reject Device automatically removes non-conforming leaflets via a Reject Chute.

Built to pharmaceutical specifications, the system is constructed from stainless steel 304, adhering to GMP design principles, making it suitable for cleanroom environments. Safety features include fail-safe sensors, a safety control system, and polycarbonate doors with stainless steel tubular handles for safe and hygienic operation.
